La Picota *

This rural tourist complex, the Picota, is located in the exceptional and natural settings of Huelvas` mountain range.

Due to the hotels privileged location in the highest part of Picota, one can enjoy breath taking views over the surroundings and especially the red flowing waters of the ???Tinto??™ River.

70 km from Huelva city; 85 km from the nearest beach (Mazagón); to 95 km from Seville; 65km from the border with Portugal.

Children up to 5yrs can share with two adults at no extra cost.
From 5yrs and up there is an extra supplement of 9euros per night.

You can enjoy good home-made food in our cafeteria or restaurant that are open throughout the day.

From Seville:
Take the exit from Seville in the direction "Ruta de la Plata" towards Camas Santiponce (N-630).
Then take the N-433 towards Castillo de las Guardas in the direction of Nerva-Riotinto-Zalamea la Real de Zalamea then turn off towards Berrocal.

In the local area you can enjoy and take in the breathtaking natural surroundings while walking, hiking, horse riding or cycle riding. We also have table tennis and basket ball hoop (all on prior arrangement).
Children can play and run around safely in the natural environment.

We have put our heart and soul in to making La Picota a place where guests can enjoy all the facilities we have to offer while unwinding in a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
The complex is made up of two buildings, the ???Casa de Piedra??™ and the ???Casa Blanca??™ that blend in nicely with their surroundings. The 24 ensuite rooms with wooden ceilings and fire places, have a cosy, relaxing feel to them.
We have installed solar panelling that generates our electricity and heats the water from our very own wells.
