White Sands Negril **Voted best value on the Negril beach. White Sands Negril is the ideal choice for travelers who want the convenience and beauty of a beach hotel without paying the high price. Family run and well managed, where customer service is a priority. Choose from One Bedroom Apartments, Deluxe Rooms, or Standard Rooms. All rooms air conditioned. Children only allowed in Deluxe and One Bedroom room types. In Deluxe rooms, one child extra is allowed. One Bedrooms, two children are allowed per unit. Children 11 and under are free. Extra person charge is $20 per night. Cots are free of charge. White Sands Negril has a bar and grill on the beach. The bar is open from 10 am to 10 pm. The grill is open from 8 am to 3 pm and serves breakfast and lunch only. Cost of breakfast and lunch are 7-10 USD. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance on the beach. Many popular restaurants offer a free pick up service at the hotel. 25% depost will be charge to credit card. Cancellation: April - December: 6+ days prior to arrival = full refund (less US$20 handling fee); 1-3 days prior to arrival = no refund of deposit / December - April: 15-30 days prior to arrival = 20% penalty of deposit; 1-14 days prior to arrival = no refund of deposit. No shows are charged FULL amount of stay. Additional deposit money may be required for reservations during the peak season of December 25 - March 31. White Sands is very low key and you will feel like you are at home. If you have any questions you can ask anyone at the front desk to assist you. There is wirelsss access in the office to connect a laptop, and cell phones can be rented. Hotel is located on the beach. The nearest airport is 40 miles from the hotel. The hotel can arrange your airport transfer from Montego Airport to Negril. Just email the hotel your flight information and the full names of the people who need the airport transfer. Price as follows: Groups of two or more people pay $46 per person round trip. Single travelers pay $64 round trip. Children less then 2 yrs old are free. Children 2 - 10 yrs pay $20 round trip. White Sands is a low key tourist town. No buildings are taller then the tallest tree. No high rise hotels are allowed which makes for a very nice boutique atmosphere. Fishing and scuba diving are a little more than a mile from the hotel. You can take many day trips to waterfalls, horseback riding (20 miles away), and river touring. All watersports are available on the beach. There is a golf course 3 miles from the hotel. There are banks with ATM machines, grocery stores, gift stores, disco, duty free shopping and many restaurants and bars. No need to rent a car, you can take a taxi, walk or rent a bike or scooter.
