The Wold Cottage [Apartments]

The Wold Cottage is a Georgian country house, once Major Topham`s counrty retreat, set in picturesque landscaped grounds within 300 acres of farmlands within The Yorkshire Wolds - the area that inspired some of David Hockney`s paintings.

A full Yorkshire breakfast is served in the dining room, which overlooks the garden. A strong emphasis is placed on locally sourced ingredients, with many of the fruit and vegetables grown in the property’s own garden. Evening meals are also served by arrangement, with local beers and a selection of wines also on offer.
