Schmidtheim is a quiet village in the Eifel. It lies in the shadow of a large castle which has been owned by the same family since 1511. Your holiday home is in a wing of the castle. This fully equipped holiday home (approx. 240 m2) is divided into 2 parts which are connected by a short outside walkway. The holiday home is well kept and tastefully furnished. The castle has a spacious 2 hectare garden.You can walk straight into the woods from the castle. It is the ideal place to start some lovely walks. Places such as Blankenheim. Schleiden and Kronenburg with its recreation lake are within 10 km. There are many sports facilities nearby such as horse riding. fishing. golf. go-karting and cycling. You can visit many interesting attractions such as Monschau. Bad Münstereifel and the Eifel National Park (17 km). The beautiful cities of Trier and Cologne can be reached in around 1 hour.

Holiday Home Burg Schmidtheim will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. After full payment is received, the property´s details, including its address and where to collect the keys, are provided by email.

A refundable security deposit of EUR 350 will be required upon arrival for damages.

Bed linen must be rented from the property for 8 EUR per person per stay. Bath towels and kitchen linen are not provided but can be rented.

Please note that the electricity fee is not included in the rate. It costs EUR 11 per night from May to September and EUR 14 per night from October to April.
