The Dining Room is a fully licensed restaurant located on the ground floor of the Hotel. In keeping with the rest of the Hotel, the sumptuous decoration of the Victorian era continues through to the Restaurant. The Shepherds` Bar has recently been restored to reflect its history as one of New Zealand`s oldest boutique hotels. Consisting of a main bar area with ajoining lounge area and separate non-smoking snug, the bar has the refined elegance of an English country house hotel.

Whether it be for a quiet drink, or for a more lively evening, the Shepherds` Bar is the perfect venue. The main bar area has games machine and a pool table tucked in at the rear.
