The Western Suites ***Comfortable, stylish and well-equipped, these suites in Galway city centre are a short walk from Eyre Square. The Suites have free parking. Each spacious suite has a fully functional kitchen, a bright and comfortable seating area, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Each is equipped to a high standard and has modern amenities. You are welcome to dine in the Western Restaurant with 10% discount on all meals. The Western Hotel also provides entertainment on various evenings, including live music free of charge. The Restaurant: A selection of delicious dishes, are available from our carvery, snack menu and our à la carte evening menu. All meals are prepared from fresh local produce by our award-winning chef. The Bar: The Western Bar is a warm and welcoming place, traditional, friendly and renowned for the largest open traditional Irish music sessions in Galway. There are Traditional Irish music sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 21:30pm, Ceili Irish set dancing on Wednesdays from 21:00, a local band playing all your favourite Irish songs on Friday from 21:30, a live band on Saturdays from 21:30 and our house DJ playing all your old favourites on Sunday from 21:30. Our bar is unique in that it is very much a local bar, popular with Galwegians, so mingling with the local people is very easy. A Security deposit in the form of cash or credit card pre-authorisation for E300 will be required for all apartment reservations. Furthermore on arrival, we require a signed statement that all damages exceeding this amount will be covered by the booking party. The deposit is refunded on departure if no damage has occurred. Access to the suites is via a flight of stairs. There is no lift access to the suites. Driving directions from Dublin: - Take the N6 Galway/ Athlone - At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Bothar na dTreabh/ N6 - At Morris roundabout- take the 2nd exit and stay on Bothar na dTreabh/ N6 heading to Salthill/ N59/ Clifden - At Bodkin roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Headford Road - Turn left at St. Brendans Avenue - Continue onto Bothar na mban - Turn left at Prospect Hill - Pass the hotel on the left, take the first left after the hotel and then left down the Cul de Sac. The underground car-park is located here. It is valet parking, so if all spaces are taken, please leave your car keys at reception and a designated driver will move your car if required.
