The Red House ***The Red House offers a unique, contemporary style mixed with a traditional country pub hotel feel. Individual en suite rooms are designed to the standard of any major boutique hotel. A contemporary restaurant offers an original mix of funky and traditional country design. The hotel pub has an open fireplace and soft leather seating, offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a freshly prepared restaurant meal along with a wide range of real ales, wines and spirits. Teak decking and cobble lined flower beds set the scene for the courtyard. Chunky pub benches are available for families and groups. You can enjoy a bite to eat on the tables around the outside bar and grill. The courtyard has been set aside for over 14’s, with the rear terrace for families. There is ample space for the elders to eat and drink while the younger ones enjoy one of our home-made ice creams. The bar and grill, set in the old stables in the outside garden, serves meals with fresh, local produce. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Full English breakfast costs GBP 5.00 per person. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. From Leicester: - Follow the A607 for Melton Mowbray. - Exit onto the A606 for Nether Broughton. - Turn right onto Middle Lane, where you will find the hotel. Belvoir Castle - The castle`s hilltop setting commands stunning views over the Vale of Belvoir. With glorious gardens and the fascinating castle to explore, there is something for everyone. During the opening season, the castle and the park regularly host exciting events including a steam festival, Napoleonic wars, medieval jousting, teddy bears picnics, family days, Morris dancing and open air concerts and theatre. Rutland Water - The reservoir is a popular sports centre. As well as water sports such as sailing, you can enjoy fishing, walking and cycling along a 25 mile perimeter track. A pleasure cruiser, the Rutland Belle, carries people around the lake. Bird watching brings visitors from far afield. The Butterfly and Aquatic centre provides an indoor attraction. The National Space Centre - This award-winning centre is fascinating and fun for all the family. The centre is the UK`s largest attraction dedicated to space, space travel and exploration.
