Stone Court ***This historic, Grade II listed building is home to the conveniently situated Stone Court hotel and its popular restaurant. A short walk from the city centre, this Tudor hotel was converted in 1716 to serve as a residence for crown court judges. Proceed onto the dual carriageway which will lead you to this brings you to Palace Avenue. - Continue along Palace Avenue (passing the Police Station). - 20 metres from the police station is a white & red barrier. - Go through the automatic barrier. After driving through the first car park, you will find the hotel`s car park (signposted at the top). By train (from Maidstone West Station, 900 m): - Leave the station and turn right, in the direction of High St. - Just before High St, turn right into Bishop Palace Avenue. - Turn right at the end onto Lower Stone St. The hotel will be on your right. By bus (from Maidstone bus station, 100 m): - Do not exit through the shopping centre. Instead, follow the road out onto Lower Stone St. The hotel is across the road.
