From the garden around the Ascher Hütte you can enjoy views over the Garstnertal valley. The wood stove is used for cooking and heating and there is also a barbecue area outside. All cutlery and crockery is provided.

Free parking is available on site. From May to October, the Pyhrn-Priel-Card is included in the rate, which offers many free benefits in the region.

The Rossleithen-Windischgarsten exit of the A9 motorway is about 8 km away. The Wurzeralm and Hinterstoder ski areas are 17 km away from the Ascher hut.
