It was originally built in 1894 as a terrace of three Victorian houses and born as a hotel in 1959, legend maintains that the infamous Kray twins have stayed here. This tranquil hotel with character and charm offers both standard and executive bedrooms ideal for business or leisure guests. Lawson House has a warm and friendly atmosphere that greet you as you walk through the front door. Each bedroom is furnished to the highest of standards and each executive bedroom has its own unique character that makes it feel like home as well as some original features. The Harewood restaurant offers an excellent a la carte menu with traditional and speciality dishes as well as a good selection of continental and overseas wines. The residents bar has a relaxed atmosphere, somewhere to unwind before and after dinner. As well as offering superb bedrooms, Lawson House has a purpose built conference and training centre as well as meeting rooms and private dining rooms, all of the facilities that you require under one roof. Children older than 14 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 2 year can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 06:00 until 09:30. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:30. Price of Breakfast Buffet (if not included in Price of Room: 6.95 GBP). Price of Full English Breakfast (if not included in Price of Room): 8.95 GBP. By road from Liverpool/Warrington - Take the a533 across the Runcorn/Widnes Bridge in the left lane, this exits left, sign posted Northwich a533, then filter left to Runcorn Old Town. At the t junction turn right into Greenway Road following the signs for Runcorn Railway Station. At the traffic lights go straight ahead. Follow Greenway Road until you see the cenotaph on your left, turn left into Moughland Lane. Lawson House hotel is situated 200 yards on your right. By road from Chester - Exit the M56 at junction 12. At the roundabout exit Widnes A557 then (also via Manchester), exit the M56 at junction 12. At the roundabout exit Widnes A557. At the second roundabout exit Widnes A557, then continue along the A557 - Take the second exit Rocksavage, Weston Village and The Heath. At the T junction turn right. At the mini roundabout turn left onto Cavendish Farm Road. At the Church turn right into Heath Road South. At the traffic lights turn left into Moughland Lane.
