The Somerset Arms ***

This pub-with-rooms has recently been refurbished to a luxurious standard. It is set in beautiful countryside 4 miles (6.4 km) from Longleat and from Stourhead.

Each boutique-style bedroom is styled with exquisite taste and boasts modern amenities. These include a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and Egyptian-cotton sheets. Two of the rooms have a free-standing bath.

The cosy bar hosts regular live music nights and the restaurant serves award-winning modern British pub food using local ingredients. The Somerset Arms has been awarded the title of UK Food Pub of the Year and Best Gastropub in the South West.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: 15 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

The Somerset Arms is a very child-friendly hotel, with a large garden for children to play in. There are chickens to feed and eggs to collect with Lisa in the mornings. Henry, the resident Great Dane, is brilliant with kids.

The restaurant is open for food from Tuesdays to Sundays, and food is served until 16.00 on Sundays. The kitchen is closed on Sunday evenings and all day on Monday.
