Cross over the four way stop and after approximately 2½ km turn left, this is a continuation of the R44. This road leads towards Ceres. You`ll drive through the scenic Nuwe Kloof Pass and after approximately 5 km you`ll see a turn off to Tulbagh - take a left here. Continue straight with the road until you reach a T-junction - turn left, left again and then right into historical Church Street. Church Street runs parallel to the main road (Van Der Stel). At the end cross the main road ... to Connaught Road No. 1 Surrounded by beautiful landscape, Tulbagh is a charming historic town known for its wealth of Cape Dutch architecture and heritage. In more recent times, wine has moved to centre stage and visitors can now enjoy a wide range of wines from the various estates and private cellars in the valley.
