Stone House Hotel **The Stone House Hotel is a classic country house overlooking Hawes, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With comfortable en suite rooms, delicious food, fine wines, log fires and stunning scenery - this is an ideal choice. At Stone House Hotel, the emphasis is on relaxation, comfort and traditional standards of hospitality. After an invigorating day`s walking or touring the Yorkshire Dales, return to your home-from-home to relax in the cosy bar, oak panelled lounge or billiard room and library - all with log fires. Our five ground floor Conservatory Bedrooms each have their own private conservatory opening directly onto the gardens. These are especially appreciated by dog-owners (dogs are welcome - see hotel policy) and guests who prefer accommodation on the ground floor. We have three luxury four poster rooms which are ideal for romantic breaks. All rooms are individually furnished and appointed for your comfort and enjoyment. We are sure that you will enjoy your stay at the Stone House Hotel and the beautiful areas that surround us. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 30.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. RVS_EXTRABED_NUMCHILDREN_COUNT_TEMPLATE~AGE_1~CC_SINGLE child under 1 year stays free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of GBP 30 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wired internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. No group bookings i.e. over 3 rooms per booking - please telephone hotel direct to discuss larger bookings. No young children in dining room after 7pm (high teas provided 5-6pm). Situated half a mile from Hawes. Take the sign towards Muker and the Buttertubs from Hawes. Up steep hill and turn right.
