The Marine Hotel ****The Marine Hotel is a luxury 4-star hotel with 53 bedrooms, many with estuary views and balconies. Facilities include an award-winning restaurant and an indoor leisure complex. The Marine Hotel is situated on the water`s edge in the beautiful town of Salcombe, which is acknowledged as one of South Devon`s most picturesque towns. Enjoying spectacular views over the sea estuary and surrounding countryside, the hotel offers the perfect location in which to relax in comfort and style. The award-winning restaurant serves a carefully chosen blend of outstanding cuisine, using the finest of local ingredients complemented by an excellent selection of fine wines. For guests that choose not to formally dress for dinner, we ask that a minimum of smart casual attire is worn. The elegantly furnished en suite bedrooms, most of which have balconies with glorious sea views, provide guests with a haven of peace and comfort. The indoor leisure complex, which also enjoys splendid coastal views, is equipped with a gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium and spa pool. Our award winning restaurant serves a carefully chosen blend of outstanding cuisine, using the finest local ingredients. The table d`hote menu changes daily along with the restaurant specialities. The restaurant also benefits from spectacular views over the sea estuary. Please be aware the hotel operates a dress code within its restaurant. Please contact the hotel for further information. Dinner prices start from 29.95, increasing to 32.50 at the weekend Children age 5 and under are not permitted to dine in the restaurant. High tea can be taken from 17.15 until 18:00. We do ask parents to respect other diners and please ensure that their children (aged 6 years and over) are well behaved throughout dinner.. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 50.00 per night and person for extra beds. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. 5 % service charge per room per night is not included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
