Grains Bar Hotel is a country hotel set in nine acres of land. The hotel has a fishing pond and a licensed bar. Situated in 9 acres of land, this family-run hotel offers the perfect base for a relaxing break. Within easy reach are the cities of Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, as well as the dramatic beauty of the Lake District. Closer to home is the network of canals, boating on Hollingworth Lake, and various arts and crafts outlets. The hotel has a bar and eating facilities, as well as a relaxing lounge area. Children older than 5 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 5 year can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 06:30 until 09:30. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 20:30. Reservations must be cancelled one day in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, 15% of the cost of the reservation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. From 1 June 2007 personal cheques will no longer be accepted at this establishment. Exit junction 21 of the M62 , turn right for Shaw, approximately 1.5 miles away. Turn left B6197 Delph. At the top of the road turn left, and the hotel is on the right. Coming from Oldham town: take A62 Huddersfield road, and take a left onto A672.
