Hotel Hof van Hulsberg **Hotel Hof van Hulsberg is an atmospheric and comfortable hotel in Hulsberg 2 kilometer from Valkenburg and 12 from Maastricht. The hotel is situated in a monumental restored Limburgian farmhouse. The hotel is in an ideal surrounding; the always cosy Valkenburg is located on only 2 kilometer from the hotel. Also the heart of the Bourgondic city Maastricht is located on only 13 kilometer. The hotel has 16 spacious rooms, all with shower/toilet/television and seating area. The hotel has a good restaurant, a bar and a sociable terrace. Dinner can be enjoyed in our restaurant every evening of the week. A different 3-course menu is served every day. Dishes are prepared by chef Niels Rienstra, who pays great attention to the use of fresh ingredients. Dinner is served daily from 18:00 to 19:00, with the exception of Friday when dinner is served from 18:00 to 19:30. We are happy to cater to special diets and allergies if this is mentioned upon reservation. Reservations are required before 16:30. Breakfast is served every morning from 08:30 to 09:30. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. From the north via motorway A2 in the direction of Maastricht: Approximately 20 km north of Maastricht you will arrive at junction "Kerensheide". Take motorway A76 in the direction of Heerlen/Aken. Then take the fourth exit (after approximately 15 km), number 5 "Nuth". There are traffic lights at the end of this exit. Turn left and drive in the direction of Nuth/Hulsberg/Valkenberg. After approximately 100 meters you will arrive at another traffic light. Keep right and follow road number N298. Just when you passed Nuth you will see an old windmill at the right side of the road. After three bends (left, right, left) you will arrive at Hulsberg after you passed Aalbeek. During the fourth bend to the right you need to take the second turn (shortly after the first) to the left in the direction of Klimmen. You will now be driving through the Schoolstraat. Keep following this road and after a bend to the right and one to the left you will suddenly see the yellow front of Hotel Hof van Hulsberg. Our free parking space for our guests is situated to the right. Hotel Hof van Hulsberg is situated in a region of hills and valleys with splendid panoramas. The village is about 2 km from Valkenburg, an ideal starting point to visit the Eifel (German region) and the Ardennes where you can hike and bike. Maastricht, Aachen and Liège are historical cities with some nice shopping centres. It is nice to go swimming (in a subtropical pool) in Valkenburg en Gulpen or visit the Thermae 2000 and the Holland Casino in Valkenburg. In this area, your long weekend will be too short. In Maastricht, you can taste the Burgundian atmosphere which is everywhere is this city. A nice boat trip on the Meuse is one of the possibilities.
