Goddard Arms Hotel [Apartments]The comfortable Old Town Hotel is covered in ivy and offers all the amenities of a city hotel. It was a pub in the 1800s, and today it offers 65 tastefully furnished en suite rooms. The hotel is part of the Forestdale hotel group and is located in the heart of the old quarter, only 5 km from the M4. 17 rooms are located in the main building. The rooms ???The Cotswolds` and `The Ridgeway` are quietly located in the midst of the wonderful garden. The rooms are either on the ground floor or the first floor. The hotel has no lift. Nearby attractions are the Great Western Designer Outlet village and the Steam Museum. Please indicate special requests when booking. Children older than 14 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 4 year can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:30. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:30. Price of Breakfast Buffet (if not included in Price of Room: 5 GBP). Price of Full English Breakfast (if not included in Price of Room): 10 GBP. Reservations must be cancelled one day in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. A credit card is required as a guarantee. If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking. Dogs are allowed in the hotel and are charged at 7.50 per dog per night and they will also receive a can of pet food on arrival per day. Payment for the rooms will be required on arrival. Please note that from 1st July the hotel will be 100% no smoking including bedrooms, when the smokefree England legislation comes in to force. By road Junction 15, M4- take A419 then A4259 towards Swindon, take the B4006 to Old Town and follow signs to Old Town until you reach the High Street. The hotel is opposite Wood Street next to Lloyds Bank. BY RAIL The nearest station is Swindon on the London Paddington to Cardiff line. Taxis are usually available for transfer to the hotel.
