Inside, the Duke of Wellington provides the theme, with the bedrooms and restaurants named after his battles. Amongst the seven acres of stunning formal and woodland gardens are a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, croquet lawn, a rediscovered rose garden and a Victorian orangery. The 180 acre Langford Heath Nature Reserve is five minutes walk away. In the hotel`s Wellesley Restaurant, gifted French chef, Patrick Robert, has created an integration of classical French cuisine with imaginative modern British cookery. The restaurant has already won a reputation for excellent food and wines. The historic oak-panelled Wellington Bar, with its open fireplace, is the place to relax with an after dinner drink with coffee and petit fours or play a game of chess. Children older than 15 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 5 year can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 10:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 13:00. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:00. Reservations must be cancelled 10 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Children ages 6 to 14 sharing parents` room are charged at £10.00 per child per night. The hotel is predominately non-smoking, with the exception of our Wellington Bar. Children under the age of 8 are not permitted in the restaurant after 18.00 hours. High teas are available by prior arrangement. Baby sitting available by prior arrangement. Dogs are permitted in some rooms by prior arrangement. Exit the m5 at Junction 26. Take the a38 to Wellington. After one mile take the b3187 into Wellington, and at the second set of traffic lights turn right staying on the b3187 to Langford Budville. After approximately 2.5 miles there is a sharp left hand bend to the village. Drive through the village and take the next right towards Wiveliscombe. (Follow the hotel brown finger signs.) Turn right again at the next junction, and after one mile you will pass Bindon Farm. After a further 450 yards, take the next right for Bindon Country House.
