You can dine at Kasteel Erenstein, a refined French/Mediterranean restaurant which is situated in a 14th century castle near the hotel. The hotel is located next to the GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo and offers its own private entrance to the park for hotel guests only.

The castle’s rugged walls, sparkling chandeliers and creaking stair treads are all reminders of the building’s rich history. The castle is surrounded by a moat, and located in the middle of a picturesque park. In sunny weather the original inner courtyard provides an unique background for a splended diner. The castle not only accomodates a restaurant; it also offers guests comfortably-furnished conference rooms and reception rooms. Groups of 10 to 500 guests are assured of a hospitable welcome in these facilities, which are available for meetings, parties, or other gatherings.

How to get to Hotel Brughof / Castle Erenstein: Take exit Heerlen / Voerendaal(N281) off the A76 (Geleen - Aachen motorhighway). Past Heerlen, take the Kerkrade-West exit. At the end of the exit turn right towards Kerkrade. At the first traffic light turn right. Then, at the sixth traffic light (before the tunnel) turn left. The hotel is on your left and the restaurant on your right.
