Var Hotel ***Var Hotel is a bungalow style-hotel, recently renovated and situated in Lagonissi, a sea side resort, near the Athens Airport and near the beach. All rooms have big verandas with panoramic view of the Saronic gulf. The Hotel is built in an area of 4300 sqr.meters, surrounded by a beautiful garden with over 250 different plants. Just 350 meters from the beach it offers the visitor tranquillity, family atmosphere and ensures an unforgettable stay. It is situated 20 km from Athens International Airport, 30 km from cape Sounio, 12 km from Olympic Equestrian Centre and the Olympic Shooting Centre at Markopoulo and 40 km from Athens. Breakfast time is:From 07:00-10:00 Instead of continental breakfast, now we offer BUFFET in the restaurant area of the hotel. There is also a bar /snack bar and cafeteria offering various drinks, beverages and snacks. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. By bus or by car you can visit numerous sights, such as Athens and the museums, the ancient temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, the Olympic Marine and the mineral museum at Lavrio, Glyfada with modern shopping centers, the zoo at Spata, the temple of Artemis at Vravrona, the Cave of Peania, and so much more... Directions to Hotel by car: From Airport ("E. Venizelos" at Spata): Follow the signs to Athens. Ignore all signs to "Local Roads" and then follow the sign "Markopoulo-Koropi" and continue with the sign "Markopoulo". When you are near Markopoulo follow the signs "Kalivia" and then "Lagonissi". From Athens: Follow the Singrou Avenue or Vouliagmenis Avenue towards the seaside. When you reach the seaside avenue follow the signs to Sounion. Lagonissi is at the 40th Km. From the port of Piraeus: Follow the signs to the "E. Venizelos" airport. When you reach Glyfada, continue towards Sounion. Lagonissi is a seaside resort, in the middle of a 70 km coastline that connects Athens to cape Sounio.
