Alternatively, exit the A7 motorway (Hanover-Göttingen) at Salzgitter. Drive towards Goslar/Bad Harzburg, then continue towards Braunlage.

If you are travelling from the South, exit the A7 motorway at Göttingen-Nord. Continue to Braunlage via Herzberg/Bad Lauterberg on route B27.
