Ryokan Yougan Onsen **

Ryokan Yougan Onsen features a hot spring bath made from lava stone and Japanese-style rooms, a 15-minute walk from amusement park Fujikyu High Land. In-room massages can be arranged. The restaurant serves grill specialities on lava stone plates.

Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and Japanese futon bedding. Air conditioning and heating facilities are provided, as well as a TV, yukata robes and complimentary green tea. Lava stone contained in bedding sheets is said to help good sleep and keep the body warm. Toilets and bathrooms are shared.

Restaurant Makigari offers a private lava stone plate at every seat. It serves Japanese and local meals and grill specialities.

Ryokan Yougan Onsen is a 15-minute walk from JR Kawaguchiko Train Station. From there, it takes a 1-hour bus ride to Mount Fuji’s 5th Station.
