Here you can enjoy an unspoilt environment, walks in the surrounding nature and exploring the fantastic Dolomites and Carnic Alps. The restaurant is famous for its wonderful cuisine, not to mention the outstanding wine cellar with a unique choice of wines. The hotel also has a bar, a garden and a terrace. The restaurant boasts an outstanding quality of food attracting people from all over the region. The menu can be adapted to guests` special requirements (including vegetarian dishes, dishes with a low level of sugar, etc. - this has to be communicated in advance). The hotel is a member of the Tyrolean Sommelier Association, which is a guarantee for the high quality of served beverages. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:30, lunch from 11:30 to 13:30, and dinner from 18:30 to 20:30. Please note that a restaurant table is not automatically part of your booking. Make sure to add a note or let the hotel know in advance if you are planning to have lunch/dinner in the restaurant. The availability of tables cannot always be guaranteed. Please note that we do not accept American Express even though you can use it for your booking. Please note that the restaurant may not be open at all times. We ask to communicate arrivals earlier than 12:00 or later than 19:00 by telephone. Our hotel is not suitable for handicapped people. We reserve the possibility to charge possible damages caused by a pet even after departure. The nearest airport is situated in Innsbruck (approximately 170 km) or alternatively Munich airport in Germany (approximately 290 km). The train stations Tassenbach or Sillian are 10 minutes drive from the hotel and they connect this region with main cities. The nearest motorway is 80 km away (A13 Brenner). Assistance in car and bicycle rental is provided on early request. The village of Kartitsch is situated in the tourist area of Hochpusteral - Eastern Tyrol. In the village you will find a post office, bank with ATM, shops, several cafes and a sport centre with tennis courts. There is also tourist information available. The distance to the Italian border is approximately 10 km and Venice is approximately 3 hours drive. Famous cities such as Innsbruck and Salzburg are reachable in around 2 hours. In our surroundings we have the biggest National Park of Central Europe Hohe Tauern. We have number of sport activities available in the region such as: skiing areas, cross country tracks and bicycle, hiking and Nordic walking tracks.
