From the Stralsund/Rügen Exit: - Follow the B96n towards Stralsund. - Take the Stralsund bypass to reach the island of Rügen. - Follow the B96n towards Bergen until you reach Samtens. - In Samtens, turn left towards Gingst. In Gingst, make a turn by the church. Please note that the Rügendamm bridge is a bottleneck during the high season with traffic jams and waiting times in both directions. The current closing times of the bridge are: 02:30 to 02:50; 05:20 to 05:40; 09:20 to 09:40; 17:20 to 17:40 and 21:30 to 21:50. The new Rügen causeway will open on 20 October 2007. An alternative to the bridge is the Glewitzer ferry boat that runs from Stahlbrode to Glewitz on Rügen verkehrt. Please follow signs on the motorway / the B96. By Public Transport: Nearest railway station: Bergen (approximately 10 km) Nearest airport: Guttin (approximately 10 km) or Rostock. (approximately 110 km). The most famous rock spur is the Königsstuhl (chair of the king) that can be climbed (fee required). The nearby balustrade Viktoria offers the best view of the Königsstuhl.
