Gasthof/Pension Höllenwolf [Apartments]Although the name might not suggest it, the ???Höllenwolf??? is a cosy, family-run inn with typical South-German country home-style interiors. It is located in the heart of Upper Franconia, in a magnificent setting, surrounded by large forests, clear lakes and gentle hills and valleys. Children up to 6 years stay for free in the room of their parents (on an extra bed) and received free meals, if selected from the children??™s menu. Children between 7 and 12 years are granted a reduction of 30% on the accommodation cost. The inn??™s restaurant serves solid German home-style cooking and seasonal dishes with -for instance- asparagus, chanterelle or cep. Free cancellation until 48 hours before the date of arrival. In case of later cancellation or no-show the hotel will charge 80% of the total booking amount. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Dogs allowed: EUR 1 per day Coming via Autobahn A9, exit at Gefrees and follow the road in direction Weißenstadt until you reach Torfmoorhölle (approx. 8 km). The Höllenwolf Inn is situated in a hamlet called ???Torfmoorhölle???, which lies in a high valley (635 metres above sea level) between the small towns of Waldstein and Schneeberg and the springs of the rivers Saale and Eger. The attractive environs offer numerous opportunities for recreational activities. A close-by lake (Weißenstädter See, 5 km) offers the opportunity to swim, surf or go fishing.
