Minotel offers free accommodation and breakfast for 1 child under 12 years old when sharing a room with 2 adults; other meals are to be paid at the hotel directly. In such a case, the client shall book a double or twin room and add a comment in the "comment box" for an extra bed for a child under 12, and not book a triple room. Two children under 12 travelling with adults (no matter if the adults are staying in a single, double or triple room) will be accommodated in a twin room and pay the price of a double room for single occupancy. Our restaurant the "Locanda Grigionese" was built in 1948. Constructed out of Grigioni wood, you will find a warm and intimate ambience. Seating for 50 people, with typical local dishes as well as Italian and international specialities. Our wines are chosen with care, especially the local ones. The restaurant serves a hearty breakfast buffet with a good choice of local and often biological products. If the booking is cancelled more than 2 days before the day of arrival, no charge applies. If the booking is cancelled from 2 days before the day of arrival on, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. In case you would not arrive at the hotel, the charge will be 100% of the whole stay. Each started stay is entirely due to Minotel. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. At the end of the motorway, follow the signs to St.Moritz, then take the road to Pontresina and continue until you get to Poschiavo. At the entrance to the village, before the bridge, take the first street on the left. The hotel is 300 m away. From Milan: Take the S336 in the direction of Lecco, then continue to Sondrio and Tirano. Then follow the signs to Poschiavo. At the entrance to the village, take the third street on the right. The hotel is 50 m away. Arrival by train: The Swiss Federal Railways offer numerous international connections. Daily between Milan/Zurich and Poschiavo. The Poschiavo valley extends from north to south, linking the Engadine with Italy. The Puschlav lies on the Southern slope of the Bündner Alps. The South- Easternmost tip of the Grisons is entirely surrounded by Italy. In the North, the 2`328 m high Bernina Pass links the valley to the Engadine and hence to Switzerland. Just under 5000 people live in the two localities of Poschlavo and Brusio in a local authority area covering 238 km2. The population is concentrated on or near the two main centres.
