The Haus Birkenbach is a simple 3-room bungalow, has an area of 50 m2 with simple and practical furnishings and a nice view of the lake. Located on the outskirts, 500 m from the centre of Langscheid, in a sunny position on a slope, 250 m from the lake.

There are 2 bedrooms: 1 double bedroom, 1 children`s room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and an electric coffee machine.

The living/dining room is simply furnished and includes a swedish stove and TV (flat screen TV), radio. Wood for the Skandinavian oven is free of charge. In the house there is central heating. There is a lawn sunning area (450 m2, fenced).

The grocers are within 500 m, a supermarket at 3 km, a restaurant is at 150 m, a bus stop is at 500 m, the railway station "Neheim-Hüsten" is at 15 km, an indoor swimming pool is 1 km away, a tennis court at 1 km, cross-country ski trail is 250 m away. Lakeside bathing is at approximately 1 km, the bathing lake has beach facilities and is suitable for children.

The climatic health resort is located 15 km from Arnsberg, 15 km from Menden, 8 km from Sundern. In the resort there are shops, museum. Indoor pool, sauna. Excursions possible to Attendorf (40 km) with its caves, to the Karl May festival in Elspe (42 km) and to the well-known towns in the Ruhr region.
