The hotel Carlton has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Located centrally but in a quiet position in the heart of Munich. All the important places in the city (shopping area, opera, theatre etc.) can be reached comfortably on foot or public transportation. For some relaxation we offer welness and sauna. Situated in Munich-Schwabing. Approx. 1km from city centre, easy to reach with public transportation. The new fair is 10 miles / 16 km away from the hotel and the Theresienwiese ( Oktoberfest ) 2 miles / 3 km.
From Muc-Airport: either take the airport bus to city centre or S- Bahn to main train station. From main station take the underground line U3 or U6 in direction to "Münchner Freiheit". Your stop is either "University" or "Odeonsplatz".
A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately EUR 55.00
Alternatively, from the airport take S Bahn S1 or S8 get off at Marienplatz to take U3 ou U6 till Odeonsplatz.
