Located on the Panshanger Golf Complex, on the outskirts of Welwyn Garden City, this tavern provides comfortable lodge-style accommodation with wonderful views across the golf course and rolling countryside.

Despite its tranquil, countryside location, the Fairway Tavern is easily accessible, with major road and rail links nearby and Welwyn Garden City Town Centre just 2 miles away. Ample on-site parking is also available.

The Fairway Tavern is open all day, every day, to members of the public as well as residents.

Breakfast can be served from 07:30, Monday to Friday, if required. Please confirm on check-in.

Lunch is served from 11:30 to 14:30, Monday to Thursday and from 11:30 to 16:00, Friday to Sunday.

Evening meals are served from 18:30 to 21:00, Monday to Thursday.

All food is prepared using the freshest local ingredients, wherever possible.

The Fairway Tavern also has a large bar area with a balcony overlooking the golf course and the surrounding countryside.

Please note that check-in after 22:30 is not possible.

By Car (from the A1(M)):
- Leave the A1(M) at junction 6.
- Follow the signs for Welwyn Garden City (A1000).
- Take the B1000 through Digswell for approximately 2 miles (3.2 km).

The nearest railway stations are Welwyn Garden City and Welwyn North.

The Fairway Tavern was built by Welwyn and Hatfield Council in 1975, alongside Panshanger Golf Complex. In April 2004, the ownership of the Fairway Tavern passed to private owners and it is now a family-run business.

The rooms were converted from unused storage space underneath the main bar area in August 2006 and all of them directly overlook the golf course.

There is a main bar where breakfast, lunch and evening meals are served. The bar has magnificent views over the Mimram Valley.

The Fairway Tavern also has an adjoining function suite on ground level, with direct access to the large, peaceful garden. The suite can accommodate events for up to 200 people and is suitable for conferences, parties, weddings or any other private gathering.

The Fairway Tavern works closely with Panshanger Golf Complex and can arrange for guests to play at their leisure.
