By Car From the North-West/South-West: - Make for the M62 east and leave at junction 24 (Halifax). - Follow the A629 to Halifax and from the centre, take the A629 towards Keighley. - After approximately 8.5 miles, at the mini roundabout, follow the signs left to Haworth on the B6142. - The Old Registry is less than half-a-mile past Haworth Station. From the North-East: - Take the A1 to junction 33 (M62 west), then at junction 26 take the A58 towards Halifax. - At Hipperholme, turn right at the traffic lights onto the A64. - Continue until you reach the A629 at Denholme. - Follow the A629 in the direction of Keighley until you get to a white mini roundabout, and follow the signs left to Haworth on the B6142. - Follow as above. From the South-East: - Take the M1 to junction 42, then take the M62 west to junction 26, then the A58 towards Halifax. - At Hipperholme, turn right at the traffic lights onto the A64. - Continue until you reach the A629 at Denholme. - Follow as above. Haworth is a great place to visit at any time of the year and the guest house is perfectly situated to enable you to enjoy everything about the unique Yorkshire village. Home of the Brontë sisters, the picturesque village is surrounded by rugged, beautiful moorland and has much to offer for a short break in Yorkshire. In addition to the Brontë Parsonage Museum there is the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway, where much of the classic film The Railway Children was shot. There are guided walks and ghost tours, fantastic restaurants and quaint old fashioned shops, beautiful countryside and a full calendar of events including the famous Haworth 1940s weekend. Just a couple of miles from the Pennine Way, Haworth is an ideal base from which to discover the Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. The market town of Skipton, the spa town of Ilkley, the craft town of Hebden Bridge, the World Heritage site of Saltaire and the Duke of Devonshire`s Bolton Abbey Estate are all within a 30-minute drive.
