Located in a select area of Cardiff, often referred to as "The Chelsea of Cardiff”, Lincoln House is set directly on Cathedral Road, within easy reach of all of the city’s main attractions. Just a short stroll will bring you to the stunning Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, Universities, Museum, Civic Centre, Glamorgan Cricket Ground and Cardiff Bay. After a long day, you can return to the comfort of the hotel and relax in the tranquility of the residents lounge, or unwind with a drink in the bar. If you are feeling peckish, you can head into the centre to sample the various restaurants, or have a take-away delivered to the hotel. The hotel is a Victorian house and unfortunately there are no lift facilities. Please note that parking is limited and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and spaces cannot be reserved in advance. Alternatively, free parking on the street is available. Any type of extra bed/sofa bed or baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel. The hotel is situated at the junction of Cathedral Road and Dyfrig Street, Cardiff. By Car: - Take the M4 motorway. - Exit at junction 32 and head for the City Centre. - You will be arriving on North Road leading to Castle Street. - Follow the road round past Cardiff Castle on your right and over the river. - Cathedral Road is on your right. - Dyfrig Street is on your right. Alternatively: - Exit the M4 at junction 29. - Join the A48M. - Follow the A48M onto the A48 (Eastern Avenue). - Stay on the A48 under the flyover and through the first set of traffic lights, with Tesco Extra on the left. - After the second set of lights, take the first left onto Mill Lane, signposted city centre/Llantrisant A4119. - Follow city centre signs. - Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Cardiff Road. Cardiff is situated in the heart of South Wales. It is an ancient city with roots going back to pre-Roman times, but today it features one of the biggest shopping centres in the UK, 3 large indoor shopping malls and a large number of independent stores, mainly sited in the city`s numerous arcades. A large indoor market, over one hundred years old, is also in the city centre. At the southern end of the city centre, the Cafe Quarter provides an excellent source of restaurants and cafes with a wide range of international cuisine to suit all tastes and styles. The city is also ideally situated to explore The Vale of Glamorgan, The Valleys, Gower Peninsula, The Brecon Beacons, Monmouthshire and Ross on Wye, all of which are no more than an hour away by car.
