In Thorndon Cross, only 3 miles from the historic town of Okehampton, Fairway Lodge is a great base from which to explore Dartmoor National Park and the nearby North Devon coast and countryside. Ashbury Golf Club is within easy reach and the lodge can help arrange discounted mid-week green fees.

Many of the rooms have large 6-foot king-size beds and all of the stylish en suite rooms are serviced daily. With just 9 rooms, all guests receive personalised, attentive, individual service. A full traditional Devonshire breakfast, featuring high-quality, locally sourced produce from nearby farms is available daily.

With a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and an attractive, peaceful rural setting, the lodge is great for a restful, restorative break.

Breakfast includes a delightful selection of fresh local produce. The special Devonshire breakfast is made with tasty free-range eggs and bacon from a local farm.

The Ashbury golf course is only a couple of minutes away and Thorndon Cross, where the hotel is situated, is right in the middle of Devon. As such, the lodge offers easy access to Exmoor and the beaches of North and South Devon. Most of north Cornwall is within an hour’s drive.
