The restaurant offers an excellent selection of dishes using ingredients sourced, wherever possible, from local suppliers and including produce from the hotel’s own gardens. Special dietary requirements can normally be accommodated and there is a special menu for children. In good weather, guests can eat outside in the garden. Private parties are welcome by prior arrangement and booking is recommended for all occasions to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is open daily for lunch until 14:00 and for afternoon tea until 17:00. The restaurant is reopened at 19:00 for dinner. The Forest of Dean is an area of outstanding natural beauty providing a wide range of outdoor leisure and adventure activities for all tastes and ages.
