Imbali Safari Lodge ****This luxury lodge is perfectly situated in one of nine pre-allocated private concessions within the world-famous Kruger National Park, carefully designed to have minimal impact on the surrounding natural environment. An intimate amount of guests can look forward to five-star sumptuous suites, each with its own private jacuzzi and a magnificent wooden deck. King-size beds offer the finest furniture and imported linen, whilst the en suite bathrooms house antique baths. With an air of opulence befitting royalty, the lodge is the perfect African utopia where guests will have plenty of opportunity to find serenity. Activities include game drives, guided walks and nomadic African spa treatments. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child from 6 to 11 years is charged ZAR 2360.00 per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Full board is included in the room rate. Imbali is in a malaria area and malaria tablets are recommended all year round. You are advised to consult your doctor. Bring comfortable light clothing, however it is also advisable to bring warm insulated jackets. By Air: SA Express from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. SA Airlink from Cape Town or Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. Private charters are available to a private airstrip; the lodge will provide transfers. By Car: - From Johannesburg take the N12 to Witbank. - Turn left into Belfast and at the end of town, turn right towards Dullstroom on the R540. - Stay on this road through Dullstroom until you reach Lydenburg. - Follow the signs for Ohrigstad on the R533. - Go through Ohrigstad and stay on this road which will take you through the Strijdom tunnel. Enjoy the views of the bushveld. - Stay on this road until you reach Swadini Snakepark on the left-hand side. - Turn right onto the R531. - Follow this road until you see the signs for Orpen and our camps: Imbali Safari Lodge, Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Village and Hamiltons Tented Camp. - Turn left towards the Orpen Gate and stay on this road, the R531, for 40 km. - Once through the Orpen Gate take the H7 towards Satara. - Drive for approximately 6.7 km. - Turn right onto the S106 dirt road. - After 1.6 km, turn right onto the S140 towards Talamati. - After 19.5 km, turn right onto the S145. - Continue along the S145 for 10 km and then turn right at the Imbali sign. - After 3.5 km, turn left at the signposted T-junction. - From the Orpen and Kruger Gates, take the S36 and follow the signs to the lodge. Once you are through the Orpen Gate it will take you approximately one hour to reach the camp. Total number of rooms: 12 |
