There are numerous examples of Ottoman architecture, including a castle built in 1521, a caravanserai built in 1545 and Tashan - also built in the 16th century. In addition, Marmaris is known for its natural beauty. The coastline impresses with coves and inlets, perfect for swimming or diving. Boat tours are also available to the nearby ruins of ancient Caunos.
