Hotel Ambassador ***This hotel is beautifully situated in the Eifel region, on the outskirts of the historic spa town of Bad Münstereifel. The hotel is well-suited to both business travellers and holidaymakers. Here you enjoy easy road access and good public transport connections, taking you quickly to Cologne and Düsseldorf. The Hotel Ambassador is set in rural surroundings on the edge of the old village, near to the riding stables. The hotel offers comfortably furnished single and double rooms, 3 suites, an à la carte restaurant, a cosy hotel bar, and an English-style pub with an integrated discotheque and bowling alley. You can relax in the sauna area complete with a solarium and gym. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 3. The Münstereifler Wald is a forest reserve with hills, streams, meadows and over 200 km of sign-posted hiking paths. There are huts, a forest chapel, children??™s playgrounds, nature trails and Roman remains. Bad Münstereifel has boasted its own Nordic Walking fitness park since 2005, and there are a total of 9 Nordic Walking routes over 80 km. Kommern is only a 15-minute drive away and here you can find the Rhineland game reserve and also the open-air museum. There is a golf club in Eschweiler, which is also just a 15-minute drive away.
