Alpin Palace Gold Crown Resort ****Perching imposingly and magnificently on the sunniest plateau in the Jungfrau region, the Alpin Palace Gold Crown Resort, a member of “Club Grand Hôtel & Palace”, is the premier hotel in Mürren and the oldest palace hotel in Switzerland (built in 1874). During its long history, the hotel has hosted famous personalities such as the King of Norway, Adenauer or Montgomery. It is directly connected to the Alpine Sport Centre (AKSZ) and the Tourist Information Centre. The hotel is only 3 minutes from the train station of Mürren and directly next to the ski slopes and hiking trails. Further airports: Basle, Zurich and Geneva. The hotel is located only a 3-minute walk from the small mountain train station of Mürren, near the ski piste and the hiking paths. As Mürren is a car-free spa town, it is the ideal place to enjoy tranquillity and relaxation.
