Hotel Junkerhaus ***This 2-star superior hotel occupies a historical building situated in the heart of Schotmar. The building was constructed in 1858, although the estate is mentioned under the name of "Winterberg" in records dating back to 1572. In June 2007 both the hotel`s interior and façade were fully renovated. We offer specialities from the Balkan region, as well as Argentinian steaks, fungi dishes, fresh fish, game and much more. Restaurant opening hours: 11:00 – 14:30; 17:30 – 23:00. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Opening hours: Reception desk: 8 am – 2:30 pm; 5 pm – 11 pm The listed city tax (“Kurtaxe” in German) is the maximum per person per night, and may be lower in the off-season. Take the exit „Herford/Bad Salzuflen“ on the motorway A2. Drive along the federal highway B239 towards Bad Salzuflen. Havving arrived at the junction, turn left into the street “Oerlinghauser Strasse”. After having passed the level crossing continue driving along the street “Eduar-Wolff-Strasse”. On the next junction, turn left into the street “Schlossstrasse”. After 150 m turn left into the street “Begastrasse”. You will find our hotel to your left. Our hotel is centrally located in Schotmar, a district of Bad Salzuflen, right between the city centre and the exhibition centre. Schotmar offer an attractive shopping street (Bugastrasse) as well as the beautiful castle Stietencron Park, which is only a few hundred meters from the hotel.
