Sporthotel Gosau ****Located amidst the beautiful mountain landscape of the Salzkammergut, Sporthotel Gosau has plenty to offer for families, active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation. A cross-country ski run and a ski lift for children are right next to the hotel. A free ski bus takes you to the ski lifts, which are only about 5 minutes away. For its younger guests, the hotel offers professional child care on 6 days a week, a children’s playroom, a juice bar and children’s evenings with disco and movies. Guests of the Sporthotel can enjoy themed buffets or international buffet variations with a salad bar, fruit basket, a well-assorted wine list and desserts. All meals of the winter half-board arrangement are served in the on site restaurant. In summer, the Sporthotel Gosau offers full-board also including lunch, coffee and pastries as well as a choice of beverages. At the hotel bar you can enjoy aperitifs and cocktails in a cosy ambience. Once a week a music or dance night takes place there. Various evening entertainment programmes are hosted several times a week. Guided hikes are also organised. Sporthotel Gosau’s spa area consists of a small indoor pool, a family sauna, a relaxation room and a solarium, as well as a Vitality Oasis with sauna, steam grotto and gym. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 7 to 14 years are charged 40 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.31 city/tourist tax per person per night is included.
