STF Helags Fjallstation [Apartments]

This mountain station is situated by the Helag Mountain Range, 15 km from Ljungdalen village. It offers free sauna access, direct access to hiking trails and an on-site souvenir shop.

Rooms at STF Helags Fjällstation are located in different buildings around the property. All have access to shared outhouse toilets, shared showers and access to a guest kitchen.

Waffles, soup and other light dishes are served for lunch. A dinner buffet with dessert is served in the Pilgrimssalen dining room, overlooking the mountains.

Sports equipment and basic groceries can be bought in Helags Fjällstation’s shop. Each building has a dryer room for guests’ use.

Scooter tracks lead directly to the nearest road, 12 km away. Östersund city centre is 100 km away.

If you arrive by car, the closest car park is located at Kläppen, 6km from Ljungdalen village. From Kläppen there are marked tracks leading all the way to Helags Fjällstation. Please contact the property for more information.

Bed linen and towels are not included. You can rent them on site or bring your own.
