Casal da Dama [Apartments]The beautifully renovated country house of Casal da Dama is situated in spacious grounds in the small village of Toxofal de Cima. Located in the upper reaches of the hills near Louinhã, this small boutique-style property is a must for guests looking for style, comfort and Portuguese tranquility. Casal da Dama offers just 4 double rooms, all beautifully decorated and featuring patios with views over the gardens. The country house retains much of its original charm and historical features; Guests are invited to relax in the cosy sitting-room or make the most of the delightful outdoor pool. Casal da Dama is less than 10 minutes away from the coast and guests can enjoy the nearby beaches of Lourinhã and Peniche. Casal da Dama can provide meals for guests on a request basis. These should be ordered in advance. In warm weather, meals are served outside the bar near the swimming pool. On cooler days, breakfasts and other meals are served in the dining room with its warming glass roof. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds. A little further on, you can take a boat to the Berlengas, the islands which dominate the coastline here, or visit the historic and well-preserved city of Óbidos.
