Overlooking the Irish Sea, The Portmarnock Hotel is located between the picturesque villages of Malahide and Howth. It boasts a Championship Golf Course, an award-winning brasserie and a sauna.

The hotel combines modern elegance with the grandeur of a 19th-century residence, previously owned by member of the Jameson Whiskey dynasty, now home to the famous Jameson Bar. There is also a cocktail lounge offering stunning sea views.

The hotel’s golf course was designed by Bernard Langer and played host to the Irish Ladies Open in 2008 and 2009. The hotel also has direct access to the beach, a fitness room and the Oceana Beauty & Treatment Rooms.

The hotel is only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and 30 minutes from Dublin city centre.

The Jameson Bar combines 19th-century period features with modern design. The bar takes up the whole ground floor and features different areas including the Panel Bar by the fireplace, the Residents Bunker Bar and the contemporary Red Room and Conservatory leading onto the garden.

Food is served daily, including a Golfers Breakfast from 0800, with Live Music every Friday & Saturday. There is also a fine selection of whiskies.

The Cocktail Lounge offers the very best sea views in Dublin, food is served daily plus our renowned Afternoon-Tea-By-The-Sea and extensive range of house-made cocktails. Live piano music every Friday and Saturday, ideal with pre-dinner drinks.

The Osborne Brasserie overlooks our courtyard garden and is named after the famous Irish painter Walter Osborne. Breakfast is served here daily and Dinner every Friday & Saturday from 1800pm with an Early Bird Menu available until 19.30. Brasserie-style food, with weekly changing dishes by our award-winning chef, using the best of fresh local produce. There is a private dining area in the brasserie for up to 24 people.

The entire hotel is wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps.

- At roundabout, take first exit (left) onto Dublin Road.
- At next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Stockhole Lane.
- Turn left onto Baskin Lane, then left again onto Dublin Road.
- Turn right onto Chapel Road, then right again onto Drimnigh Road.
- Turn left onto Station Road, then left onto Strand Road, where you will find the golf course and hotel.
