Hotel Rakov Skocjan ***Hotel Rakov Škocjan is a smaller hotel in the middle of the Rakov Škocjan regional park in Cerknica-Postojna, offering great regional Notranjska cuisine including freshwater fishes and crabs. Every morning you awake to the twittering of birds amidst scenic natural surroundings. The park offers ideal opportunities for cycling, hiking, nordic walking, fly fishing and speleology. Our guide takes you to the Zelska cave and throug the park.You can embark on a trip to the Cerknica lake, to the Križna jama and the Postojna cave and to the Slivnica hill. The hotel is open all year round. Our speciality are sea and sweet water fishes, crabs, venison and home made desserts. We offer you Slovenian wine from the south. Near the hotel there is a picnic area, where we prepare barbecue specialities for our guests. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 29.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. 2.37 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.
