A 20-minute walk from the Kitaoji Subway Station, Green Gables Machiya offers Japanese-style rooms in a traditional Machiya townhouse. Free coffee and tea is available for all guests. The Imamiya Shrine is only a 2-minute walk away.

The rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon bedding. Each includes air-conditioning and a heater. The bathroom and toilets are shared among all guests.

Guests can cook their own meals in the shared kitchen, which includes a toaster and microwave. A Kotatsu (heated leg warming table) is available in the common room during the winter season. Laundry facilities can also be used for free.

Machiya Green Gables is a 30-minute bus ride from the JR Kyoto Train Station and the Nijyo Station. The Kinkakuji Temple is a 10-minute drive, and the Kyoto Botanical Garden is a 25-minute walk away.
