The Hill ***The Hill is an elegant, restored country house, in 5 acres of beautiful grounds overlooking Abergavenny, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Hill is an education and conference centre, with modern en suite rooms offering free internet. Some are in the main house, but most are in a modern accommodation wing. You can dine at the hotel with an advance table reservation, while there is also a licensed bar. Take a stroll around the grounds at The Hill, or visit Gardd-y-Bryn, its restored Victorian walled garden, with views of the Blorenge Mountain. Despite its peaceful position, The Hill is within easy reach of Abergavenny and easily accessible by road or rail, just 40 minutes from the M4 and M50. Here at The Hill, a range of home-cooked food is prepared using locally sourced fresh meat and produce wherever possible. A full Welsh or continental breakfast is served together with freshly brewed Colombian coffee as well as homemade cakes and pastries. Experienced organisers of private events and functions such as lunches and special dinners, whatever your celebration, The Hill promise to exceed your expectations with good quality food, coupled with fine surroundings and a relaxing ambience.
