Gwern Borter Manor ****This historic country manor house features 8 self-catering cottages, all set in 12 acres of grounds and gardens in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. At the foot of the Talyfan Mountain and close to the coast, there are lots of facilities including horse riding, cycle hire, a games room, pets??™ corner, a gym and a sauna. The accommodation is well located for exploring the many attractions in the area. Gwern Borter Manor features a fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: This hotel has no meal services. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Weekly bookings only in the main season. For the rest of the year we are happy to take short breaks. By Car From Conwy: - Take the B5106 for 3 miles. - Take the right-hand turn for Rowen by the Groes pub, exactly half a mile. - Take the right-hand turn, signposted to Gwern Borter Manor. - 100 metres later, turn left by the post box. We are on the left. - If coming from the south (Betswy Coed), take the B5106 until you get to the Groes. Turn left, and follow the same instructions. We are at the foot of the Talyfan Mountain in the Conwy Valley, which is in the Snowdonia National Park. The manor is only 3 miles away, as is the historic medieval town of Conwy with its sandy beaches, marina and river estuary.
