Take the 1st exit onto the A429. - Continue on this road until you approach Bourton-on-the-Water. Go straight on at the first turning for the village. - Shortly after you will come to a set of traffic lights. - The Coach and Horses is located shortly afterwards on the right. Parking: - A large off-road car park is available to guests, free of charge. Birdland (1 mile / 1.6 km) - set amid woodland, river and gardens, this site is inhabited by over 500 birds. Flamingos, pelicans, penguins, cranes, storks, cassowary and waterfowl can be seen through-out the water habitat. There are also over 50 aviaries of parrots, falcons, pheasants, hornbills, toucans and others. Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy collection (1.5 miles / 2.4 km) - this award-winning museum has a varied collection of classic cars, motor cycles, pedal cars and a huge collection of motoring signs. The toy collection is complemented by the `Brum` car, used in the popular BBC children`s series of the same name. Bourton House Gardens (9 miles / 14.5 km) - standing on these grounds since the late 16th century, Bourton House is now the centre of 10 acres of beautiful horticulture, including an ornamental garden, kitchen garden and orchard.
