The Crown Inn ****Built in 1633, the AA 4-star inn is one of the oldest buildings in Frampton Mansell. The inn retains the charm and character of the traditional Cotswold hostelry, with open fires, traditional local English food and a warm welcome. Spectacular views over the famous Golden Valley provide a tranquil and picturesque setting for guests. The inn consists of 12 en suite bedrooms, all with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Children older than 16 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 3 year can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 10:00. Lunch is served from 11:00 until 22:00. Dinner is served from 11:00 until 21:00. Reservations must be cancelled 2 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, an amount equivalent to one night average cost of accommodation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Situated between Stroud and Cirencester on the A419, signposted the Crown Inn Frampton Mansell. From the M4 follow the A417 to Cirencester then take the A419. From the M5 leave at junction 13 and follow the signs for Cirencester A419. Situated in the Cotswolds, between the towns of Stroud and Cirencester, and a short drive away from the Regency town of Cheltenham, the hotel has idyllic views over the famous Golden Valley. There are plenty of long country walks, golf clubs, sailing facilities and horse riding nearby. As well as local attractions: Corinium Museum (7 km) - located in nearby Cirencester and considered by many to be the finest museum in the Cotswolds. Housing numerous exhibits dating from pre-history to late 19th century, it is also renowned for its significant Roman collection. Roman Amphitheatre (7 km) - whilst still buried, this important archaeological find retains its distinctive bowled shape amid a parkland setting.
