By Rail: From Troyan Railway Station (500 metres): - Exit the station and turn right. - Kapincho Park will be on your right. - Head up the hill and you will come to the hotel. By Car: From Lovech / The North: - Enter the town on Vassil Levski and cross the river at the earliest opportunity. - This should bring you onto G.S Rakovski. Turn right. - After about 100 metres, Kapincho Park should be on your left. Take the turn, cross the railway line and follow the road up through the park. - You will soon reach the hotel. Free parking is available on site. The town of Troyan is situated at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain, near the beautiful banks of the Beli Osam River. Nearby attractions include: The Museum of Folk Crafts and Applied Arts (500 metres) - in the centre of Troyan, it is home to extensive collections of ceramics, wood-carvings, iconography, artistic metal-work, folk costumes and textiles. Some of the oldest examples date back to 9 BC and were recovered from the local area. Troyan Monastery (10 km) - one of the biggest in Bulgaria, established in the 16th century. It is remarkable with its intricate architecture, including frescoes painted by Zahari Zograf - one of Bulgaria??™s most famous mural painters. It is especially famous for its curious 3-handed icon of Mary.
