The Cariston Hotel ***The Cariston Hotel is a traditional town house situated in Ayr`s town centre, a 5 minute walk from loads of shops, bars, restaurants, and clubs. A 10 minute walk takes you to the towns local beach where you will find indoor swimming, plus lots of activities that will suit all the family needs. The Cariston Hotel has 13 bedrooms over 2 floors, the rooms are all en suite with all the modern comforts such as hairdryers, tea and coffee facilities. They are all well aired, bright rooms with simple decor. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Please note that reception will require to take a note of your credit card details on arrival at the hotel. Should you check out earlier than your arranged departure date, the full amount will be charged to your account, unless a prior agreement has been arranged. - On leaving Airport turn left and right at the roundabout into Prestwick. - Drive through Prestwick into Ayr. - Continue over river straight through town. - At 3rd set of traffic lights turn left, this will bring you to Miller Road. Nearby attractions include Burns Cottage Museum and Culzean Castle. The hotel is perfectly situated for you to take full advantage of all of Ayrshire`s wonderful golf courses.
